Kelsey is a wife and mama of two on earth and one in heaven (baby Sunny). She is a follower of Christ and believes we are called to love others. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Trevecca Nazarene University and spent several years as a preschool teacher at an inclusive preschool, but decided to stay home with her babies after becoming a mother.

She has always been intrigued by all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, but her passion for birth work didn’t really start until she got pregnant with her first. She dove in head first learning everything she could, but still ended up with an experience that was less than satisfactory. While pregnant with her second she decided a doula would be helpful, and thus a new passion was born! She knew right away she wanted to be there to support women in the same way she was supported by her own doula. Becoming a birth and postpartum doula was her obvious next step.

Kelsey is currently training with Childbirth International. Kelsey believes it should be up to YOU how you have your baby and you deserve support throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond. She believes evidence-based education is crucial so each family is able to make the right choices for themselves and fully have informed consent.
