Kelsey is a wife and mama of two on earth and one in heaven (baby Sunny). She is a follower of Christ and believes we are called to love others. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Trevecca Nazarene University and spent several years as a preschool teacher at an inclusive preschool, but decided to stay home with her babies after becoming a mother.

She has always been intrigued by all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, but her passion for birth work didn’t really start until she got pregnant with her first. After the birth of her first, Kelsey's mom stepped in and essentially filled the role of postpartum doula without either of them realizing it. When asked by friends what tips Kelsey had for postpartum her biggest advice was “find someone like my mom”! Once she was introduced to the idea of a doula she realized THAT was what she was recommending! Kelsey then decided to become a doula after having her second baby. She feels that every woman deserves to feel loved and supported the way her own mom did for her. Mothers deserve to he mothered too, especially while the transition into motherhood is new.
