Michelle Dunn has served in the birth community for over 7 years.  She resides in Waterloo, Indiana with her husband and daughter. Michelle grew up knowing that she has a deep passion for all things baby. Her desire was further fueled when she assisted her family member during two of their births. There she supported the birthing person and photographed the events that unfolded before her eyes. In her late 20s she explored that passion while working as a birth assistant in an Amish birthing center. There she gained first hand experience with birth and all that encompasses birth.  

For several years Michelle was attending births as a birth photographer and didn’t realize the vital roll she was taking on with supporting the birthing family. It was when she began networking with other birth workers that she became aware of her roll. She had been acting as a doula alongside of photographing their births. Michelle is now certified with Still Birthday and will continue to pursue additional certification as she can. 

Michelle offers doula support alongside her photography talent, capturing once in a lifetime moments as they unfold. Clients can expect a professionally shot and edited photo gallery of their birth with 100+ images.

Her packages include:

Prenatal support 1-2 consults before due date.  Continued support 24/7 from 36-37 weeks till delivery.  Labor and delivery support up to 3 hours after baby has arrived.  Postpartum check in at the birthing facility or home whichever is preferred.  And a postpartum visit within 4 weeks of birth to go over the birth.  Michelle also may just bring her camera to sneak in some postpartum moments with you and your new babe.
